This site is officially No Longer Updated.
Have no fear, Mystic Lemons is still watching all your other Alien sites, undoubtedly scowling at people who think the word 'xenomorph' didn't exist until 1986.
Don't email her from here, it doesn't work.

AVP Books posted by Mystic Lemons on 05-17-2004 21:23

|
The upcoming AVP novelisation is now available to pre-order from Amazon. Customers of Amazon.com will find it listed for $6.99, and users of the UK site will find it for £3.94.
Dark Horse Comics will also be publishing Alien vs Predator: Thrill of the Hunt, a 96-page full-colour comic, on September 1st. It's available to pre-order for $6.95. This is what it says on the Dark Horse site:
In the farthest reaches of space, a creature terrified us. Acid blood. Armored skin. Razor-sharp teeth. No mercy. In the depths of a rain forest, another creature hunted us. Perfect camouflage. Fearsome weapons. Brutal methods. No conscience. In 2004, these monsters clashed on Earth in the greatest battle the universe has ever known. But far in the future, long after a technological catastrophe that started a second Dark Age, all memory of these two species has been forgotten. And when Mankind again reaches for the stars, we will discover that, truly, those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Once again, Man is caught in the middle of a deadly struggle.
Based on this summer’s major-motion picture from 20th Century Fox, Alien vs. Predator: Thrill of the Hunt carries the themes and story elements from the film into new territories of action and terror, crafted by Mike Kennedy and illustrator Roger Robinson (Azrael, Batman: Gotham Nights), all in a value-priced original graphic novel. Cover painting by Society of Illustrators award-winner David Michael Beck.

For info on the new Palisades items, including a new Queen (which I haven't posted a picture of as it's kind of a spoiler) and a facehugger plush toy, go to: http://www.palisadestoys.com/new/whatsnew/index.php

We mustn't forget to mention the new AVP figures that are being released at the same time as the film. For more info on them, visit Spawn.com.

On another note, not particularly AVP related, but this facehugger (with bendable legs!) is a strictly limited edition. This and more Aliens and Predator stuff can be found at Monsters In Motion.
